The Drive for Meals-On-Wheels benefit golf tournament is a four-player scramble for golfers of all abilities. About 140 golfers and 45 sponsors participate. All proceeds are donated to Loaves and Fishes Centers to help maintain the funding desperately needed to make sure they can fulfill their mission - No senior will go hungry or experience social isolation.
The event is hosted by E C Company, a top ranked, full service electrical contractor offering a range of capabilities in the electrical construction industry and Power Systems distribution for 63 years. E C believes in making a difference in our community and Loaves and Fishes is E C’s primary community cause.
On a daily basis Loaves & Fishes Centers provide balanced nutrition and balance to the lives of many isolated seniors through daily contact. Centers produce 5,000 hot, nutritious meals five days each week. Meals are then delivered to senior centers where they are served at center dining rooms or sent out as Meals-On-Wheels to homebound elderly. A fresh, hot meal delivered daily with a friendly smile can mean the difference between living and just being alive.
